DRAGis.ART is thrilled to offer scholarship opportunities for our upcoming professional development workshop series! These scholarships are designed to make our workshops accessible to all drag artists, regardless of financial barriers. Here’s everything you need to know:
What Does the Scholarship Cover?
If selected, your tuition fee for the workshop will be fully covered. This includes access to all sessions in the series, whether you attend in person in St. John’s or remotely via Zoom (if applicable).
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must:
- Have lived experience as a drag artist for at least 3 months.
- Self-declare financial need.
- Be a resident of Newfoundland and Labrador for the past 12 months.
Selection Process
- If the number of applicants exceeds available scholarship funds, names will be drawn at random to ensure fairness.
- All applicants will receive a notification via email:
- Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email with next steps.
- Unsuccessful applicants will be notified as well, ensuring clear communication for all.
