The Rainbow Quartz Travelling Drag Show is returning for its second year, and we’re inviting proposals from experienced drag producers to bring fabulous shows to Bay Roberts and Gander this Fall!
If selected, you’ll produce and host a drag show with up to three performers (including yourself). Performers will receive a base fee of $350, and the producer/host will receive an additional $100 hosting/producer fee.
Additional Details
- For Gander, two hotel rooms will be provided for you and your performers.
- A portion of meals will be covered for all participating artists.
- Drag is Art will create a custom event poster and promote the show.
- Drag is Art will collect all ticket revenue to support the costs of this project and future programming via the Dream Haus Box Office to limit fees collected by providers like EventBrite.
Minimum Requirements to Apply
- 2+ years of experience as a drag performer
- Produced 10 or more drag shows
Selection Criteria
The Drag is ART Board of Directors will select successful producers after the deadline based on the following criteria:
- Eligibility: Meets minimum requirements (2+ years performing, 10+ shows produced).
- Experience: Demonstrated history of producing high-quality drag shows, with preference given to those with rural or community-based experience.
- Feasibility: Ability to manage logistics, coordinate performers, and deliver a successful event within the Fall 2025 timeline.
